The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that it was recalling its ambassador to Morocco over allegations of sexual abuse, harassment and corruption.
David Guvrin, who returned to his post in Rabat on Sunday, was told to head for Jerusalem where he is to stay pending the ministry's investigation of the allegations against him.
A delegation of senior ministry officials visited the Moroccan capital earlier and heard complaints from local staff and diplomats.
Guvrin launched a complaint against the Foreign Ministry's chief security officer, in response.
